Flying with the Birds

We recently spent a week in and around The Peak District.  On a particularly hot day we headed up to Mam Tor near Edale.  I like Mam Tor.  You don’t have to walk very far from the car park to get to the top!  With a slight breeze and thermal uplifts it was the perfect place to watch para-gliders, and a hang-glider too.  I tried my best with my sport-action-situation shots.  There are more on my Flickr page.  I also broke the cardinal rule of photography.  Have a camera with you at all time! (I ended up having to borrow my partner’s D5000)
