The original photo was not that far of being a silhouette as it was. But I wanted to make it more pronounced, so I used Lightroom to lower the overall exposure (which also helps the the sky). and then pushed the blacks up. I also use a Bleach Bypass preset to change the sky a little. Hope that helps.
