I quite enjoy photographing scenes around Southampton Water. There’s always loads going on, whether big container ships are on the move, or smaller vessels on quietly moving up and down the river. Where I come from I should probably be photographing trains, as it’s a railway town… but I think I prefer the boats.

It’s also very relaxing. Some of these big ships go by with very little noise, and hardly disturbing the water.
