Brighton beach…. sometime in the summer… I remember it well
Another one taken with a Nikon D40 and 35mm lens. I think this is a combination that can give amazing results.
A Word War II, anti-aircraft gun at Hamble Point in Hampshire. This was also the first time out with a Lee Big Stopper ND filter. It should be a fun filter to play with.
This was taken last year. F1.8 and ISO 1600. It was also taken on my D40 which is quite old, so struggles with noise at higher ISOs. Does it matter though? I don’t think so. I like the effect in this. Most software allows you to add noise anyway. I think the D40 with 35mm lens is actually a really good combination, as it’s quite a compact package. 35mm on a cropped sensor though can sometimes not feel wide enough though.
Salisbury race course. I only lost £5, so in my book was a good result!
I love trees… especially the ones that stand alone, and take the full force of the wind…. hopefully not falling over.
Rock ‘n’ Roll from the drummer of The Huss. Too much smiling though!
