Exploring the inner workings….
This is a blast(er) from the past. Clearing out my attic, I came across my old Games Workshop Warhammer 40k figures. I used to paint these – in fact I spent more time painting than playing the game. This is from the my Space Marine combat group.
The rain would not stop…. Here is something else from an afternoon in the attic.
It’s Bank Holiday Monday, which traditionally means it’s raining here in the UK. So I’m in the attic taking photos of patterns and textures. Which may come in useful at some point. This is my camera bag.
Well finger really. It’s amazing how something so small can cause so much discomfort!
I completed the following picture for the ‘Drinks’ category. It’s the leaves out of a single teabag which I cunningly made into…. a ‘T’. This was taken with a macro lens and is full size.
This was completed for “Games”. I wanted to get macro-shots of all the tokens in a monopoly set. As colour is an import part of the Monopoly board, I wanted to incorporate all the colours too. As part of the digital manipulation requirement I used Photoshop to build the final image.
In case you weren’t sure which version of Monopoly this is from, it is the “Stoke-on-Trent” version.
Something else I enjoy is playing the guitar… not very well as it happens. This is my rather dusty Epiphone “Les Paul”, taken with my Tamaron 90mm macro lens.
Sitting in front of my iMac, with a macro lens. The result….
